Candace Starr Holenchick, 51, of Fayetteville AR died at home on February 15, 2024 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born on March 6, 1972 in East Liverpool OH a daughter of Naomi F. (Grafton) Grimm.
Having lived most of her life in the area, Candace was a graduate of Southern Local High School Class of 1990. She was a member of Brand New Church in Farmington AR. She loved to take daily walks and enjoyed photography. She also loved and was a big supporter of local musicians and going to concerts. In 2023 She was honored as a photographer with her induction into the Northwest Arkansas Musicians Connection Music Hall of Fame.
Candace is survived by her husband Charles Holenchick Jr whom she married August 21, 1993 of Fayetteville AR; two daughters: Lindsey Grimm (Kenneth Dickson Jr.-companion) of Salineville, Chelsey Hunt (Gabriel) of Canton; four sisters: Sherri Phillips of Leetonia, Amy Custer of Salem, Nicole Donaldson of Salineville, Beckie Buckel of East Liverpool; a brother: Brian Wooley Sr. of Youngstown; grandchildren: Jaydon, Kinsley, Faith, Lizzy, Remy, Vivian and a great grandchild: MacKenzie and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday February 22, 2024 at 1pm with Ronald McCourt officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11am-1pm.
