Daniel Eugene Morgan

Daniel E. Morgan, 81, of Brush Creek died at home on June 24, 2023 following a lengthy illness. Dan was born on January 8, 1942 a son of the late Paul Morgan and Ester Goulder Morgan.

Having lived his entire life in the area Dan worked for Melhorn Dairy and TRW as well as being the owner and operator of Morgan Refuse, retiring in 2007. Dan also ran a 60 acre farm for 62 years, was a former 8 year trustee for Brush Creek Township and was an avid hunter. He was also a member of the Grants Hill United Presbyterian Church.

Dan is survived by his wife Martha Ella (Rose) Morgan whom he married on January 8, 1961; two daughters: Eleanor Danser (Les) of Sagamore Hills OH, Paula Lipator of Carrollton OH; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a nephew: Paul Morgan and his beloved pet dog: Sadie.

In addition to his parents Dan was preceded in death by a daughter: Martha Terry; three brothers: Ted Morgan, Bob Morgan, Dave Morgan and a sister: Ruth George. 

The family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Monday June 26, 2023 from 5-7pm

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in Dan's name to either Salineville, Irondale or Bergholz Volunteer Fire Departments.

Burial is to take place in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
