Frank Lyn Mingus, 64, of Carrollton OH died at home surrounded by loved ones on May 29, 2023 following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Salem OH on May 20, 1959 a son of the late Donald Mingus and Barbara (Arkenburgh) Mingus. Having lived his life in the area he worked as a truck driver and was a veteran of the United States Army
Frank was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He really loved spoiling his grandchildren. He cherished his time surrounded by friends and family at a bonfire. He also loved riding motorcycle.
Frank is survived by his wife: Mary (Pratt) Mingus whom he married December 30, 1978; a son: Carl Sizemore of Canton: five daughters:Heather Riggs (Jason) of Salineville, April Mingus of Salineville, Tara Herman (Jake) of Carrollton,Victoria Rivas (John Chipman Companion) of Carrollton and Kila Mingus of Mechanicstown; three brothers: Raymond Mingus, Donald Mingus II, Richard Mingus; three sisters: Cathay Frost, Tammy Court and Sharon Mingus;19 grandchildren: Natasha, Samantha, Jason, Lina, Christian, Juliana, Jacob, Kylee, Andrea, Cruz, Cyrus, Isaac, Paden, Conner, Alexis, Justin, Hannah, Chloe, Gracie and two great grandchildren: Andrew and Davian.
In addition to his parents Frank was preceded in death by a brother Dean Mingus.
As per Franks wishes no calling hours or service has been planned.
The Kerr Watson Funeral Home in Salineville was entrusted with arrangements.
