Joan Bolen
Obituary
Joan Bolen, 84, formerly of Millport died at the Canterbury Villa of Alliance on June 29, 2023.
She was born in Minerva OH on January 16, 1939 a daughter of the late Roy Miller and Enola (Ridgeway) Miller.
Having spent all her life in the area Joan worked at Summitville Tile for 10 years and was very involved and loved attending services at the Hanoverton Church of Christ. Joan loved to cook for family and friends and loved to garden.
Joan is survived by a son: Gwendell Bolen (Pamela) of Alliance; three grandchildren: Anthony Bolen of Alliance, Christopher Bolen of Berlin Center Tiffany Bolen of Younstown and six great grandchildren: Damian Percy, Gwendelyn Percy, Brooklyn Murphy, Jackson McDaniel, Angelina Bolen and Noah Bolen.
In addition to her parents Joan was preceded in death by her husband: Joner Bolen whom she married August 15, 1956; a son: Bradley Bolen and a sister: Janice Court.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday July 15, 2023 at the Hanoverton Church of Christ at 11 AM.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Kerr Watson Funeral Home in Salineville.
