Judy Taggart

Judy Taggart, 78, of Salineville passed away at home on January 23, 2023.

Judy was born January 11, 1945 a daughter of the late Thomas Lewis and Mildred (Conner) Lewis. 

Having lived most of her life in the area, Judy was a graduate of Salineville High School Class of 1962, worked for many years in the cafeteria at Southern Local Schools, was a member of the Salineville Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary, a village council women, had attended Salineville Methodist Church and most importantly was a wife and homemaker.

Judy is survived by a daughter: Kayla Taggart of Salineville; a son: Curtis Taggart II (Bud) of Salineville; two sisters: Carol Higgins (Buck) of Salineville, Sandy Lewis of Salineville; three brothers: Mike Lewis (Marcia)  of Toronto, Tim Lewis (Christy Moore, companion) of Leesville LS, Jeff Lewis (Mary Smith, companion) Salineville; Grandchildren: Taylor Tsesmilless (Thomas, companion) of Salineville, Brady Kellogg of Salineville; Great Grandchild: Jayce Tsesmilles; Nephews: Chris (Nikki) J.T. (Marci) and many other beloved Nieces and Nephews.

In addition to her parents Judy was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Taggart whom she married March 27, 1964 and who died on December 18, 2020 and a daughter-in-law Roberta Taggart.

The family will be present to receive friends at the Kerr Watson Funeral Home on Friday January 27, 2023 from 3-6 pm
