Kari Lynn (Strabley) Finch

Kari Lynn (Strabley) Finch of Lisbon died on January 26, 2023 at Salem Community Hospital.

Kari was born in East Liverpool on January 26, 1973 a daughter of the late Keith Strabley and Linda (Skillman) Strabley. She was also preceded in death by her brother Michael Strabley.

Having lived her life in the area Kari was a graduate of Southern Local High School Class of 1991 and had been a former member of Calvary United Presbyterian Church in Salineville.

Kari is survived by two sisters: Tracy Strabley of Wilmington NC, Niki (Strabley) Kryaninko & John Wood of Manchester MD; Nieces and Nephews: Andrew & Ashely Lindner, Elizabeth & Heather Lindner, Alexandria Woodburn, Erick Woodburn, Douglas & Amanda Jones, Christina Carzoo, Amanda Carzoo. Also survived by an Aunt and Uncle Timothy & Danielle Strabley who cared so much for her and her siblings.

Kari always had a smile and never let any obstacle stand in her way. She always worked hard and was not afraid of any challenge. She lit up the room with her smile and her positivity was contagious. Though she became a quadriplegic, she took on the challenge to be able to live on her own and she succeeded in her determination. She had many friends who were around to help provide her the support needed, but she would never officially ask for help. In true determination and goal orientation, Kari passed just after midnight on her 50th Birthday.

Kari has left a mark on many lives and will be missed.

Kari wished to be cremated and buried with her father and brother. No visitation of service has been planned at this time. Burial will take place in Woodland cemetery at a later date.
