Lorna L Deeley

Lorna L Deeley, 84, of Salineville died at home on September 16, 2023 following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Salineville on March 11, 1939  a daughter of the late Leroy Close and Ruby (Brown) Close. 

Having lived all her life in the area Lorna was a homemaker and a long time member of Reiley’s church. She enjoyed quality time camping and fishing with her family over the years.

Lorna is survived by a daughter: Cindy Bisland (Steve) of Salineville; a son: Craig Deeley of Salineville; a Grandson: Richard Deeley of Salineville; three great grandchildren: Alyssa, McKenzie and Colt Deeley ; as well as three nieces Jeannie Wilson, Barbie Anderson and Becky Close.

In addition to her parents Lorna was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Deeley whom she married June 16, 1956; a sister: Arlene Kirbaugh and a brother: Bruce Close.

Funeral Services will be held at the Kerr Watson Funeral Home in Salineville on Thursday September 21, 2023 at 1 pm with Pastor Linda Baker  officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland cemetery.

The Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home from 11am up until the time of service at 1pm.
