Marlene Elizabeth (Green) Corbisello

Marlene Elizabeth (Green) Corbisello, 88, of Wellsville, Oh. died peacefully and surrounded by her family August 6, 2022.

Marlene was born in Salineville, Ohio on November 1,1933 a daughter of the late Harry Green and Hannah “Ellen” (Polen) Green.

Having lived all her life in the area, Marlene was a graduate of Salineville High School Class of 1951, where she served as president of her senior class. Marlene became the bride of Vincent R. Corbisello when they were united in marriage April 22, 1955. Marlene worked as a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for 30 years, retiring in 1996. She was a former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Salineville and had attended St. Johns Catholic Church in Summitville as well. Marleen was a member of the Salineville-Southern Local Alumni Association, past member of the Southern Local Board of Education, and volunteered at many Southern Local and later Garfield Elementary events and activities. Over the years she was a member of various card clubs and community organizations. Marlene was also an avid cook who at one time owned a catering service. She loved to cook and share her food with many friends and family.

Marlene is survived by three daughters and a son: Lori (Delmer) Corbisello of Carrollton, Oh., Lisa (Kevin) Ferguson of Wellsville, Oh., Dominic Corbisello of Tampa, Fl, and Lana (Mark) Judy of Warminster PA; a brother: Carl Green of Wintersville, Oh.; four grandsons: Jeremy (Andrea) Corbisello, Marcus Judy, D. Rocco Corbisello, Luke Judy, and two great grandsons: Jackson and Wilson Corbisello.

In addition to her parents, Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent R. Corbisello, who died June 1, 2000. Marlene was also preceded in death by six brothers: William, Roy, Harry, Roger, Fred, Tom, and one sister: Ruthann.

Services will be held at the Kerr Watson Funeral Home in Salineville, Oh. on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 11 AM with Father Stephen Wassie officiating.

The Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 4-8 PM.

Marlene’s family would like to offer a most sincere thank you to Hospice of the Valley of Youngstown and her many care givers over the past few years.
