Michael Oates II Obituary

Michael Eugene Oates II, 47, of Salineville died unexpectedly on October 2, 2022.

Michael was born in Salem on June 17, 1975 a son of Michael E. Oates Sr. and Becky (Willis) Oates. 

Having lived his life in the area Michael was a graduate of Southern Local High School Class of 1994 and obtained an Associate Degree in Criminal justice from Pittsburgh Technical Institue. He loved spending time with friends and family, was a dedicated worker and loved sports. 

Michael is survived by the love of his life: Ex-Wife Lori (Gooding) Oates, whom he married on October 5, 1996 and spent 26 years with; companion: Pamela Sue and her grandson; two sons: Nicholas Oates and companion Alicia Lowe of Irondale Michael Oates III of Irondale,; a daughter: Hannah Oates and her companion Patrick of Oldtown FL; three sisters: Nicki Oates of FL and Amy Colyer and Monica Oates. Grandchildren: Kinsley Annalynn Oates,Gunner Mason Shean; Nieces and Nephews: Katie Tennett, Drake Cunningham, Taylor Cunningham all of Salineville as well as Megan Gooding of Irondale and a large extended loving family.

A memorial service will be held at 5pm on Saturday October 8, 2022 at the Salineville Fire Hall.
